Breast surgery

Dr. Brown provides surgical evaluation and treatment for benign and malignant breast conditions in close coordination with your local imaging and oncology team.

• Breast biopsy & excision of benign lesions: evaluation of breast lumps, fibroadenomas, cysts, and abnormal imaging findings.
• Lumpectomy (breast-conserving surgery): removal of breast cancer while preserving surrounding healthy breast tissue.
• Mastectomy: complete surgical removal of breast tissue when clinically indicated.
• Sentinel lymph node biopsy: targeted lymph node evaluation during breast cancer surgery.

Where surgery is performed

Dr. Brown operates at AdventHealth Port Charlotte and Murdock Surgery Center. Consultations and follow-up visits are at the Charlotte Harbor Surgical office in Port Charlotte.
